We are Beatrice and Moona!
Our story began in 2019, where we met in the world’s only Island-City, Singapore! No less than after two in-person meet ups, yes only two, we felt so strong by our shared mission and values we decided to create a telehealth company and in January 2020, TeleHope was born!

Over the years working with people with communication and swallowing difficulties, it gave us an insider view of their struggles and constraints in current society and the impact it has on the quality of life for their loved ones.
Living with communication and swallowing difficulties can be devastating and there are so many people globally with this condition, yet there is such LIMITED support to help these people and their families.
Therefore, we decided to improve the lives of as many people as we can by creating a super accessible and affordable way of receiving therapy. Over 3 years later, we are now active in 7 countries and created My Language Toolbox!
When we are not working, Moona can be found travelling, hiking or deep in meditation classes! Beatrice, loves singing, beach vacations and her cat!

Developed in Singapore and supported by Amazing Speech Therapy (Singapore’s leading Speech Therapy company) www.amazingspeechtherapy.sg. TST delivers speech therapy via our specialised Speech Therapy platform to neighbouring countries in Asia and the United Kingdom, targeting children and adults who have scarce opportunity to access quality speech therapy services.

Beatrice Teo
In 2020, Beatrice was awarded NCSS 40 under 40 leaders in Singapore. In 2021, she also won the ASEAN Business Award and was a finalist in the President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Award.
Moona Islam
Moona is also a Consultant Speech Therapist with more than 11 years of experience in London’s National Health Service (NHS) and Singapore’s private practice sector. Moona specialises in working with children with complex communication disorders and paediatric dysphagia. She has maintained close links with local and international therapists and provides valuable supervision to junior therapists.
She has featured as an expert speaker for Motherhood Magazine, private schools and organisations.
