Abby is a uniquely qualified Speech-Language Pathologist with significant experience providing skilled speech and language interventions to children and adults across hospital, skilled nursing, clinic, and teletherapy settings. She received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas in 2016 and has been working collaboratively with clients and their families to build individualized treatment programs and provide targeted therapy to facilitate communication skills within the home, school and community settings.

Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, Abby was an elementary school teacher, English department head and reading interventionist during her ten-year career in education. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from New Mexico State University in 2004.

Abby can be relied on to provide evidence-based care for clients with a range of needs, including expressive and receptive language disorders, speech and phonological deficits, dyslexia, fluency disorders, cognitive-linguistic deficits associated with brain injury, dysarthria, and swallowing disorders. She is passionate about equipping each client with the necessary tools and confidence needed to empower them to become the best communicator they can be and believes that therapy should be both fun and functional.

Abby currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA).
